About Dr Diana Semmonds
Dr Semmonds has a private practice at St Leonards and is a visiting medical officer to the Intraocular Implant Unit at Sydney Eye Hospital. She operates privately at the Chatswood Private Hospital. Her interests are general ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery
Dr Semmonds has held a number of positions on numerous Boards and Committees. She is currently chair of the Board of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. She has been Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Hon Secretary of the NSW Branch of RANZCO, Chairman of the National Scientific Congress, Federal QEC member and Overseas Trained Specialist Panel member. Outside of the College she is a Director on the Board of the Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Sight Foundation Theatre and is on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Chatswood Private Hospital.
