Associate Professor Hema Arvind specialises in cataract, visual electrophysiology and glaucoma.
An active clinical researcher in the field, Hema’s work has been published in several scientific publications and she has also been awarded a PhD.
After postgraduate training in ophthalmology, Hema worked in India as a consultant, completing post-specialist training in glaucoma before moving to Australia.
Hema continued her post-specialist training in glaucoma at the Sydney Eye Hospital and was awarded fellowship of the RANZCO.
Hema is also a clinical senior lecturer at Macquarie University and a Visiting Medical Officer at Concord Hospital.
