PresMed Holdings Pty Ltd (PresMed) is pleased to confirm that it has received a signed binding offer from Cura Day Hospitals Group Pty Ltd (Cura) to acquire PresMed.
The transaction, which will create a combined network of 36 hospitals across Australia, offers new growth opportunities for the company and ensures resilience in an increasingly challenging and competitive industry.
Cura was founded in 2008 and since then has grown to become the leading day hospital company in Australia with 29 day hospitals nationally.
Cura offers a broad range of specialties including Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Dental Surgery, ENT Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery.
Peter Freeleagus, Chairman of PresMed said that patients and staff would benefit from improved care options and a wider range of facilities.
