CPH’s A/Prof. Geoffrey Painter and Hospital Director, Kerrie Legg, were featured in the World Association of Eye Hospital’s (WAEH) April Newsletter. The article spotlighted A/Prof. Painter and Mrs Legg’s November visit to Singapore National Eye Clinic (SNEC) to exchange knowledge and experience on femto cataract surgery platforms. Mrs Legg and A/Prof. Painter were hosted by SNEC’s Chief Operating Officer, Charity Wai and Dr Allen Fong (Head, General Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology). The article was distributed to all WAEH members which consist of leading hospitals across the globe.
The WAEH is an international network of eye hospitals dedicated to improving the level of ophthalmic care around the world by promoting the open sharing of information and knowledge between members. Chatswood Private Hospital became a member in 2017, becoming the first private member to join WAEH the organisation in Australia.
